2-Day Exploration of Nyungwe National Park, Rwanda
Itinerary
Day 1: Nyungwe Canopy and Night Camping in Nyungwe National Park
Early morning pick up from Kigali and drive to Nyungwe national park for canopy walk way visit, 5 hours’ worth drive, you will enjoy the scenic and windy road, on the way we will visit the King’s palace museum in Nyanza former Kings house and have a lunch break in Huye.
Arrive at the park reception in the late afternoon, check-in and complete the park formalities including presenting the negative PCR Covid test result process the payment and receive the briefing as we start our short hike to canopy.
Arrive back in the late evening for the night camping stay at Uwinka campsite, just few meters from the main park reception.
Day 2: Ndambarare Waterfall and Transfer Back to Kigali
Early morning after breakfast, will receive the briefing at the park reception and start the hike to the newly discovered waterfall which deserve to catch your eyes.
Arrive back during mid-day and have a lunch break hand drive back Kigali via Lake Kivu belt road with scenic view.
Drop-off the guest at hotel.
The above tour itinerary is provisional and can be modified if necessary to meet the need of the clients. The rooms’ availability in the proposed lodges will be confirmed at the time of reserving the tour with us. Reserving early is recommended especially for the arrivals in high seasons for the sake of rooms’ availability. Prices may change depending on the entry fees to parks or if any of the accommodations increase their prices, you will be notified in advance if any of these occurrences take place.
